UV 50+ describes the maximum protection against ultraviolet rays (sunlight). UV indicates how much sunlight is absorbed by the fabric. A fabric with a protection factor of 50+ only allows 1/50th of the UV rays to pass through the fabric. The colorfastness therefore lasts 50 times longer than with conventional fabrics.
Standard or Comfort
The Bimini Top is available in 2 versions: Standard and Comfort. The Comfort version additionally has four zippers sewn into the inside of the Bimini Top. The counterparts are included. The Comfort version is intended for all customers who want to sew additional side, front or rear parts. We offer the fabric in our shop. Otherwise, Standard and Comfort are absolutely identical.
