UV 50+ indicates the maximum protection against ultraviolet
rays (sunlight). UV indicates how much sunlight is absorbed by
the fabric. A fabric with a protection factor of
50+ lets only 1/50th of the UV rays pass through the fabric.
This means the colorfastness lasts 50 times longer than with conventional
fabrics.
